Joey finds a family!

Joey went to his trial home last Wednesday!! We will keep you posted, but our last darling black and white pup is officially away...

Paka (pka Junie)

Paka's adoption was finalized on the 13th!! We are so happy for this beautiful girl! She came to stay with us for a few days while she had her spay surgery, and it was a great chance to get to say "goodbye and goodluck" to Junie.

Joey is still looking for his Forever Family!

Sweet, smart Joey is still here waiting for his family to find him. He was the rescue director's favorite, and we really love him here, too.

He may be housebroken (no accidents in quite some time) and crate trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

He is so smart and happy-- just a really sweet little guy. And as he grows older, he is beginning to look more like a lab mix than anything else.

He has been to Doggie PlayDay at Taurus Training twice now-- they all think he is a wonderful boy, too.

He may need some work on leash walking...

Ziggy (pka "Jonathan")

Ziggy is doing wonderful in his new home! Look at these great photos (and check out his album for more)!!!! Congratulations, Ziggy-- his family plans to make it official next weekend!

Jasper's ADOPTED!

Jasper has a really amazing family-- everything we could have hoped for including wonderful Rufus for a playmate. They made it official last night, so Jasper is the first of this litter to be adopted! Here are a few more photos. Good Luck, Jasper!

Dear Jade

Although we posted it in the timeline, we hadn't felt like posting the update about poor, sweet Jade yet. Our darling girl fell desperately ill on August 25th and had to be rushed to the emergency animal hospital where she was found to be critically ill, having trouble breathing, definitely suffering from a pneumonia of unknown source (though possibly from aspiration) in conjunction with an upper respiratory illness and a GI illness as well. The doctors were not able to tell us with certainty what caused it, but they felt certain it was not something that would effect the other puppies for various reasons. Jade was suffering without much hope of recovery and we elected to have her euthanized in my arms that morning.

She was Jason's favorite, and it was very difficult for us. But we wanted to let everyone know what happened.
